A cup of coconut tea can help us keep the body free of some nasty bacterial and viral infections. This is largely due to the fact that coconut milk is rich in vitamin C and lauric acid.

Vitamin C is known for boosting the immune system, while lauric acid is proven to be responsible for the actual treatment of viral infection.

I know, I know… there is plenty of popular teas out there that can help you detox your body and you’re probably already thinking, “do you really expect me to believe coconut tea is the new best thing that will make my quarantine belly go away?”

To be quite frank, the answer is no. Why? Because it is not going to shed pounds off your weight just by some miracle. In fact, it will actually help you suppress appetite by slowing down the enzymes responsible for building fat.

Pro Tip: Drink your cup of tea at breakfast to reduce the food intake later in the day!

Aids Heart Health

Cholesterol seems to be a scary word we’ve all heard at least once in our lives and been told to avoid. However, according to studies, coconut milk has the ability to increase the good cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein) and decrease the bad (low-density lipoprotein).

This can protect you from high blood pressure and minimize the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Pro Tip: Instead of coffee with cream or dairy milk, opt for coconut tea to increase energy levels with milder naturally occurring caffeine and lower your cholesterol levels at the same time!
